As He Waits.

He has the tendency to repeat.
Over, and over again.
He has the life to live.
Over, and over again.

He has diminished the connections he once had,
He questioned himself, but never voiced it.
He knew what was going to happen,
He took the first step.

Now without turning back, he is hanging by moments,
Moments that he should forget, or achieve what's right.
With a cigarette that determines his lifetime,
Slowly burning, yet fading.

His future is blurred, but he knows what needs to be done.
The future comes soon, but the present stays now.
He assures himself, he knows what he wants.
For the moment, he shall keep on walking..
