Hello ladies and gentlemen.
The reason why I haven't blogged for the past few days, and randomly putting up some crap about the anti-glare screen thing for the iPad, is because.. I couldn't be bothered after my motherboard died on my HP.
But today, the bell rung so hard, and I was surprised, I was actually at home. Usually my brother or my housemates get my stuff in for me. That's what happened for my brother and my iPads on its day of arrival.
But check it yo.
I present to you: Big Boss / Naked Snake with his Sneaking Suit that will be featured on the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on the PSP.
Snake <3
My word, the details are mind blowing. Good job, SquareEnix!
(And this is definitely underpriced. LOL)

Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad Screen Protectors.
Firstly, do not be an idiot like me, because I have purchased 5 screen protector sets that costs up to $179.80, and to make the best of its value, they only lasted up to less than a week, and I got better in sticking these annoying films on a 9.7 inch screen.
Now because of my mistake, I would love to write, and to share, on the available films in the market.
Although Apple claims that their latest iPhone 4 is a glass made out of a material that is stronger than plastic, and 30 times stronger than sapphire crystal.
Let's get down to the point:
It's still glass. Give it to a kid, and no matter what, you'll be crying towards a 9.7 inch broken glass screen a few minutes later.
There are 2 main categories of film to protect the pretty glassy screen. They are:
1) Crystal clear
2) Anti-Glare
Let's run through the differences:
Crystal clear films will allow you to maintain the colours that you see on your device as it is out of the box. And like any glass surfaces, the film will retain the joy of you spending time by clearing the fingerprints off the screen frequently.
Pros:
Anti-Glare films were the type of films I thought I wanted. The ones that does not have a matte finish. When I compared it to my brother's iPad, and my own iPod Touch, I saw the difference. Instantly, my 1024 x 768 resolution and colours were ruined by this film.
Pros:
Plus, the idea for the iPad is to have its brilliant colours to blind you, not to diminish it, so that's why I prefer the crystal clear film compared to the anti-glare.
So, I hope some random Google-r will research on the differences, stumble upon this page, and thank me before s/he makes the same stupid mistake I did. By wasting a shitload of $$ in films. LOL.
And if you're wondering what film brand I'm using, honestly speaking, I don't really care. But the easiest to apply is Power Adaptor. It costs the same as the Elano range, and it is, by far, the EASIEST to apply! I was surprised that it took me nearly 20 minutes to apply an Elano film, and this only took me less than 5 minutes.. or 2 minutes actually, in an enclosed, dust-free environment.
All you need to do is to get away from any fabrics. Carpets, would be your worst nightmare. What I did, is I went down to my dining room area, which is a wooden furnished floor, a wooden table with a wooden plank on top. No frabics were around except for a bed, and the closest dirtiest spot would be.. well, let's not get there now, shall we?
What you need next is a clear-scotch tape, a credit card (or anything similiar) and if you're a photographer, get your lens cleaning kit out.
If you were to get ideas on applying a film, that's great. But we have YouTube to show how Power Adaptor would advise you to apply their film, which is the best tutorial ever. Don't worry about applying and getting all of the air bubbles out of place, or whatever it is.
But if you were to hold the non-adhesive side with your thumbs, and (preferably your fingers) to remove the other side of the film to expose the adhesive side. Start with your iPad upside down, with the Home button facing away from you, and just do whatever the video teaches you to. If you wrestle with your film hard enough, you might even notice that you won't be able to get any air bubbles caught in between.
If you encounter dirt, or dust, you won't be able to let the air bubbles subside by itself. Mainly because the dust.. is trapped thanks to your genius and expertise. Don't worry, I had breadcrumbs caught in between. This is where your scotch tape comes into play. Prepare 2 pieces of tape. One to stick to any of the edges closest to the dust, and you'll be able to lift it up easily if you try to detach the tape from the film. Use the other tape to stick onto the dust that annoys you, and get it over and done with.
And yes, if you have an air bubble, use a plastic card, and push it out.
Here's a hint. If it's closer to the Home button, push it towards it as the Home button is not covered by the film.
Oh. And if you have the time, and the money. Go for the InvisibleSHIELD. That is one film that I was frustrated to put on, but gave bloody good results. Problem is, it'll probably take you more than an hour to fit each side (so that's 2 for both sides), and it not scratch-resistant.
After all, it's a light sheet of plastic.
And yes, after a few weeks of using the iPad, and finally replacing the film, it looks so bloody damn new thanks to the Power Adaptor film. I feel like I'm in love all over again.
Now, the next thing I'm going to annoy you all is with..the countdown to the iPhone 4 release in Australia!

Crystal clear films will allow you to maintain the colours that you see on your device as it is out of the box. And like any glass surfaces, the film will retain the joy of you spending time by clearing the fingerprints off the screen frequently.
Pros:
- Colours will be as it is. Looks like it doesn't have a protective layer on top.
- Feels "connected" with the device
- If you don't turn up the brightness (and kill your battery at the same time), it will be unlikely for you to see anything as the reflection, like a glass, will shine directly towards your eyes.
- Finger prints are its best friend. You'd better be someone who wears specs, as you'd use the cloth to wipe every fingerprints off the screen.
- Like glass, your fingers won't be able to slide. It'll jitter along the surface like a boat against the sea waves.
Anti-Glare films were the type of films I thought I wanted. The ones that does not have a matte finish. When I compared it to my brother's iPad, and my own iPod Touch, I saw the difference. Instantly, my 1024 x 768 resolution and colours were ruined by this film.
Pros:
- Smoother feel. Your fingers actually slide from one side to the other; unlike the Crystal clear films.
- Distorts, and blurs out all reflections facing it - including light sources, and your own image, so you can't use it as a mirror during the times you feel like being vain.
- Fingerprints may compile, but will not be visible after an amount of finger oil being on top. (Come to think of it..ewww..)
- Distorts your reflection, and lights too. Did I mention that it pixelates your colours and interface too?
- Harder to free it from fingerprints.
- It just looks horrid. It's matte finish. That's why I changed mine after I found out the differences.
Plus, the idea for the iPad is to have its brilliant colours to blind you, not to diminish it, so that's why I prefer the crystal clear film compared to the anti-glare.

Meet my new friend.
This fella is called an Android. And yes, he is directly related to Google's Android. I never knew how to use this, and I only know it as an OS for several smartphones out there where users don't find Microsoft Windows very friendly.
Nor was it of any use in the first place, anyway.
I'm running several apps, and I can't believe how light this thing is. Doesn't even take more than 2 seconds for it to boot up and is ready for use at any time! Of course, it'd be stupid of me to compare this Android OS against Windows OS as they have different performances.
But because I do hate Microsoft that much, I shall share.
I'd usually let my Windows boot up for quite a bit, and then let it run for about 5 minutes after I log in just to grab full usage of the damned thing. Because everything's operating everywhere, and I don't really see the point of idiots trying to make money out of that.
When I run on Android, it doesn't take me long, and everything's just quick, and efficient.
I'm pretty darn surprised. This is going to be my awesome temporary netbook. Ever.
Only because it's:
1) Acer
2) Has Android QuickBoot.
It came with something else after the whole Android OS. Apparently, I kind of forgot what the hell that thing was called.
Was it MicroScopic.or..what? I know it's just bloody annoying.
IF you see me on MSN, especially eBuddy, you know darn well what OS I'm running on.

Android-ed.
For the first time that Google came up with an OS, it had to be on a smartphone.
But for a smartphone OS being on a netbook? Who would be that insane to be such dumb asses by doing so?
Acer would be the one.
And they're not as dumb as they are. If Ferrari gets their stuff strutted out with the FerrariOne series, why now Android on the AspireOne D260?
I never knew how to use Android, and I tell you, it is insane. Too bad it cannot view the files in my hard disk at the moment, but I tell you.
Using Android before I boot up my Windows 7 is mindblowing. It does not respond as quick as my previous HP, but it responds quicker than Windows 7.
I am completely satisfied with this purchase.
I have another OS to work on! And the default browser is FireFox!
And annoyingly, yes, I added Twitter to my Android desktop as well.
Heee :)

It's Decisions That Kill Me.
On a summary basis, I have checked out Dell or Acer netbooks. And yes, being the biased asshole that I am, I only pick these two among the lot.
Besides that, I see that Dell is the straightforward, serious type. The specs are awesome for a netbook, but Asus would be the better choice when it comes to entertainment issues.
I admit that I do not play games, but I do watch a shit load of movies, so that's a definite yes.
And the thing that scares me about technology is that.. Even small devices like those come with HD audio, and some, comes with an ultra high resolution with HD compatibility.
Once again, my brains are completely fucked.
First choices, now quality. Haha.
God, I love choosing new things.
That's the difference between Mac and Microsoft. For the iPad, I didn't have much tough decisions. Pick a product, pick a size, and then pay.
Microsoft - pick a laptop, pick a screen size, pick your price range, pick this, pick that. You can even receive TV on it?! Pick that.
Boy, how do I love choosing things. If Mac were to be under my budget, I would happily get my first Mac, and call it my lifesaver.
Sadly, I can't say the same for Microsoft. I know it's just going to either blow up on me, or set me on fire while I sleep.

You HP Fuckers
I was online with my good old HP Pavillion dv2000t, and guess what?
Came home, three loud beeps greeted me when I wanted to boot it up.
Great, huh? My motherboard blew up again, and again, and again.
This time, for good. I'm not getting a new motherboard for this.
I'm just getting a new net book, and I want to see what is affordable tomorrow.
Thanks for ruining my life, HP. If this happened one day before, I would've filed a lawsuit.

You Know..
I was happily studying with motivation since 7am this morning after an hour's procrastination, and guess what.
My HP restarted itself. Not handphone, by the way. Who ever studies through their handphones? -_-
My laptop restarted itself after installing some updates. It's great they prompted me regarding the updates available. It's great that I updated the required softwares.
But it's not great when everything shuts down without even a single fucking prompt.
And for the past one week, I thought that spending 2.9k AUD$ on my dream MacBook Pro was a real waste of money.
But thanks to this problem, it made me realise that I don't think sticking with Windows any longer is going to make me a happy man.
I don't know how you guys use Vista, but I respect y'all for it. I shall express my love for Microsoft Vista, and any related Microsoft products.
I fucking hate Microsoft, and you fuckers should stop producing operating systems since Bill Gates retired. You fuckers don't even have a fucking clue of what you all are doing, you bunch of fucked up fucking Operating System programmers.
Jesus. Be like Apple. Take 10 years to install the feature of "Cut, Copy and Paste", but at least they got it fucking right. If you all even attempted to build something like the iPad, you all would have fucking failed dramatically.
And to top it all, let us not forget that Windows Vista was fucking based on Mac's OSX. Just that, Apple uses less resources compared to what you all are fucking using.
Microshit Windows should have stopped at XP. No more, and no less. It's like Britney Spears. The typical pop icon for kids until she took drugs and became fat.
And HP, you know I've got fucked up issues with you. So you're on a different case.

I felt the hate rise up in me,
kneel down and clear the stone of leaves.
I wonder out where you can't see;
Inside my shell I wait and bleed..

Yeah. No Shit.
There are some people I can't stand.
And there are many people that I can.
For the moment, I'd say fuck everything.
It doesn't pay to be a good guy, to be humble, and to kiss everybody's asses whenever you care for them.
Being a prick is far better than caring for others.
So fuck everything.
Friends or family. Doesn't matter.
Eventually, we all have to die one day.

Safari 5 FTW!
I'm using Safari 5 at the moment for Windows.
I think I might switch back and forth Firefox and Safari. ;D
If I'm not mistaken, this uses more resources compared to Firefox. But whatever it is, I don't mind.
I think.
Safari 5 is awesome.
Besides Firefox. :)
Wheee!!
My Dave Weiner shirt and my translated driving license arrived!
Boy. What a way to kickstart my day. YEAHHHH!!
Lalala..hohoho
Got riffs? ;)

iOS4
That is the name of Apple Inc's next biggest leap. Or maybe, they pulled the future towards the present, I'd like to put.
the iOS4 which was shorten by its original term - iPhone OS4.
The iOS4 will feature plenty of new features that was covered during the iPad keynote, and will be released for the iPod Touch (best would be 3G) and the iPhone (3G and above; but 3G will not support some of the features) on the 21st of June 2010.
And to complement the iOS4, will be its main reason of existing. An operating system that needs to be mounted onto a device that's powerful enough to support such things. An iPhone 4 (or known as 4G as well) would do the trick.
Using the same back-lit LED and IPS technology the iPad has, its display on a 3.5 inch screen is extremely orgasmic. Pictures will turn out clearer, and its retina display technology is just mind blowing. The human eye registeres 300 pixels per inch, and anything above that would be considered as smooth, and non-pixelated anymore.
The iPhone 4 has 326 ppi.
326ppi, now which madman high on any sort of chemicals ever came up with that stupendous and brilliant idea?
I had enough doubts today to stop spending my money on getting an expensive thing.
But the keynote, and the iPhone 4 blew my mind away.
Everything about it, even with its faults which i will tolerate with, makes me feel alive.
There are several things that you can do. Exercise, survive an accident, receiving a phone call, listening to music and plenty of other things.
To me, the iPhone motivates me in being me. Like the guitar reminding me that I am also a half-musician (and even more) at heart.
Come July 2010, and you're mine.

WOOHOOOOO!
TO CELEBRATE MY OWNAGE OVER MY EXAMS
MY DREAM THEATER WALLET CAME IN THE MAIL!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
MY DREAM THEATER WALLET CAME IN THE MAIL!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
2 Hours.
2 hours was the time limit given to us when it came to writing essays and stuff for management. We were advised by our lecturer to spend at least 20 minutes average on each essay, and we had 5 to write.
I spent 40 on the first, 10 on the second, 15 on the third, 10 on the fourth, and 20 minutes on the last one. So that equals up to one hour and thirty five minutes spent.
But why did it take me long on the first essay?
Shit simple.
Explain on the general environment (which are technological, economic, legal/political, demographic, sociocultural, global) that can effect an organization. And relate your examples to either the tourism/hospitality industry OR the music industry.
.. Did someone just say music? LOL
I could not stop smiling for about 20 minutes as I jotted down what I already know of the music industry locally, AND internationally. Plus, technological advances on the music industry? MIDI music production, and that was even easier since I work on it as well during my free time.
Of course, this was Australia so I had to be completely free from bias, as other idiots would usually be biased to their own favorite artists and stuff. Since I'm in Australia, I wrote about none other than Orianthi. Besides Orianthi, KISS, Steve Vai, Led Zepplin, AC/DC and many other inspirational rock bands to the Australians (not to me, if you noticed already) was mentioned.
God, I love unexpected easiness. Heh.
And I have the rights to be smug all about this achievement because I spent about a week's time studying for this subject. And the next one is coming up very soon. Haha
And if you think I'm just showing off, let me tell you something. I'm not expecting a high distinction nor are my expectations are high. And if you happen to get one, congratulations to you. And honestly, it's all about application and implementing.
If you know how an engine works, it doesn't mean you know how to drive like Michael Schumacher.

Look.
First of all, let me make it clear that I don't really give a shit about my exams, and is going to tell you why I don't really care.
Firstly, getting stressed over your finals or whatever nonsense this test is all about is entirely useless. Let me share you me secret when it comes to this.
I don't spend my time in burning the midnight oil in excelling in subjects. That's why we have lecturers, besides the whole idea of extorting information and tips for the paper, they lecture us on what the subject is about, and with their teachings, they are supposed to make us understand the subject matter a tad bit better compared to what we already know.
Of course, if your subject were to be subjective and based on facts (e.b. Accounting Theory and Practices, or Science subjects) of course, you cannot rewrite something that's used universally to describe something. Like Newton's gravity laws. You can't say that the US discovered gravity because it helped their nuclear missiles drop onto Hiroshima to halt the World War 2.
So, my method (which several people think I am pretty much out of my mind) is to get a good night's sleep, and to wake up with a fresh mind so I can write the facts I know. And if I can't write about what is meant to be written, we just gotta write a shit load of logical sense as long as it..makes sense.
After all, if you have enough supporting facts, you can turn a criminal into an innocent man in law.
Plus, think about it. Wake up with a fresh mind, or to head to the exams hall half asleep. You decide. Not me.

Just One More Day..
To what?
No, not my finals. Nobody can ever be happy about their finals unless if they know they're going to pass it. Apparently, I don't really give a shit.
But what I do like to shit about is:

Boo yah!
The only time that most iPhone enthusiasts would know if the rumours were to be true, or not. Is the iPhone 4G going to be released, or not?
Besides that, there're also other sort of goodies, such as the rumoured iPod Touch (the 4th generation, I believe? It's going to have a camera as well), and the newer specs MacBook.
Oh joy, their summer is the thing, and our winter here means the happiest moment of my life!
And yes, there are also people who thinks that they're a bunch of stuck up snobs. Apparently, musicians who know too much tends not to share and show off what they can really do and expects you to worship them
Let me tell you one thing. I was anticipating Andy Timmons' clinic in KL last year, and it was a major flop. Only because he was (probably) in a bad mood.
He carried his clinics out half-heartedly, and it was more to like a solo-performance instead of a clinic. And here's a huge comparison: Wes Borland vs Andy Timmons.
Limp Bizkit's ex-guitarist, against a "Guitar God" (and the MC overemphasised that, who was an idiot apparently. He hasn't heard of the likes of Guthrie Govan, I suppose)
What Andy did was to.. play what he had already recorded that we can always listen to endlessly whenever we have his albums.
Wes Borland shared about what inspires him (in terms of art as well), to produce the riffs he made for Limp Bizkit and ongoing performances and shows.
"To bridge between what the bassist and drummer would play" - Wes Borland.
Now saying something like that, meaning he didn't want himself to stand out in the spotlight as well.
What a humble person.
And I'm not saying that Andy Timmons is worse off being whoever he is right now, but I'm saying that other people in the world, they just have to watch what they're saying because it's not offensive or disrespectful.
It's because you're going to make a fool out of yourself, eventually. And I'm worried if that were to happen.
Or on second thoughts, I don't really care if that were to happen. Haha.

And Derek Hit My Shelf!
I just gotta love it when you can find the albums not online BUT in the music stores! And likewise the OTHER way around!
Derek Sherinian is the ex-keyboardist for Dream Theater when he got kicked out after Jordan Rudess (Their current one) is available.
I always thought he had a good idea for melody lines as Jordan Rudess is full of.. techniques and boggling notes. Of course, I like Jordan Rudess as well, but in terms of musicianship, you cannot compare who's better than who.
Unless if they suck really hard, then that's a different case. Heh.
Woohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Taka Minomono!!!
Just Another Random Update
It's been a while since I last sat for a proper finals exams. The last I did this was when I was still in KDU PJ, which was probably 10 months ago.
And like every other time, I'm not freaking out.
Which is a good and a bad thing.
I don't give a shit, really. This doesn't feel right no more.

I Was Joking..
I was joking to my brother in forcing him to check the mail, and..
HE WISHES ME ALL THE BEST (for my exams as well, right?) ON THIS
I SHALL BLAST HIS MUSIC VERY SOON HOHOHOHOOHOHOHOHO
Dave Weiner is also known to be seen during Steve Vai's tours as he's the backup guitarist who's been with him for quite a bit. Steve Vai doesn't pick his musicians for fun, but he picks distinctive musicians when they're distinct from others.
And Dave Weiner is a very nice guy as he adapted to how Steve Vai approaches his fans (also mentioned in Where The Wild Things Are DVD).
:)

Today Is An Awesome Day.
Because I wore my Dream Theater shirt outdoors, and well, I didn't feel cold one bit. I knew it was a good idea to get the long-sleeve shirt.
With that said, I also blew my budget for this week by blowing $54 on..
My driver's license translation!
After the finals, I'm going to go sit for the bloody test and get this nonsense settled once and for all..!
AND AUSTRALIAN DRIVING LICENSE YOOOOO!

Je-je-jejenggg
I just can't help myself,
I'm feeling like I'm going out of my head.
Tear my soul into two,
I'm not the one the sleeper thought he knew.
Oh, that's just nothing. Just humming along to one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite albums from one of my favourite bands. I came home and this arrived in the mail:

I shut the door and travelled to the other home..
